This large countryside garden in Cambridgeshire presented a familiar challenge for many homeowners across the UK — a generous space that lacked cohesion, flow, and purpose. The clients wanted a bespoke garden design that could support family life, outdoor entertaining, and relaxation, while making the most of the surrounding landscape. Existing elements felt disjointed, with poor zoning, limited usability, and uninspiring planting.

As a garden designer working across the UK, Manoj reimagined the space through carefully defined zones and layered planting. The patio was extended, the outdoor kitchen reconfigured, and new seating areas introduced to create a natural rhythm throughout the garden. Sculptural elements and a bespoke water feature added focus and atmosphere, while planting softened the space and connected it to the countryside beyond. The result is a beautifully balanced garden — functional, expressive, and designed to be lived in.
