North London Courtyard Garden
Small gardens often present the greatest design opportunities. This North London courtyard had become overgrown and underused, lacking light, structure, and purpose. The client wanted a low-maintenance, Mediterranean-inspired garden that could support both relaxation and entertaining, while still feeling personal and expressive.
Through a bespoke garden design approach, Manoj Maldé opened up the space, introducing bold colour, structured planting, and multifunctional zones. Built-in seating, an outdoor kitchen, and layered planting transformed the courtyard into a vibrant yet calming retreat. The result is a beautifully resolved urban garden — one that feels spacious, intentional, and perfectly suited to modern London living
