Designing a roof garden in London requires more than creativity — it demands precision, collaboration, and a deep understanding of structure. For this Hampstead penthouse, the vision was a luxury rooftop garden for entertaining, dining, and relaxation. However, the existing roof lacked the structural capacity to support a garden, presenting both technical and design challenges.

Working closely with engineers, Manoj Maldé developed a bespoke garden design that balanced structural integrity with aesthetic ambition. Lightweight materials, raised planters, and climate-resilient planting ensured longevity, while outdoor living features transformed the space into a fully functioning extension of the home.
